Project: Rebuild LTH

For a few weeks now, Issy and I have been working together to come up with some ideas to rebuild LTH. We all love LTH and want to spend as much time together as possible, so let's make this happen!

We have all of the volunteers we need, but if you still want to help one of the biggest things we need to do is ADVERTISE! Whether it be Tumblr, Instagram, TC, whatever- advertise! Let's fix up this place!

Things we can do:

1. The Monthly Sleepover
We all participated in a sleepover last month- it was a blast! It would be awesome if we could do it on the 13th of every month.

2. A complete list of active users
Someone can count up all of the active users on here and then, Issy or Talisha can delete inactive accounts. That way, we can coordinate other fun activities.

3. User of the week
There will be a user of the week! The chosen user will get to:
-Have everybody request at their graphic shop that week (Their shop is featured as well)
-May advertise any of their threads (songbooks, stories, etc.) as much as they'd like
-Have their own thread (as I said above) to discuss whatever they'd like
-Get to choose the theme of the week (details below)
-Get to choose the game of the week (details below)

4. Theme of the week
Perhaps we could have a theme of the week, where we can all post stuff in the weekly thread that relate to the topic- pictures, videos, songs, etc. An example theme could be 80's, or Frozen.

5. Game of the week
The user of the week would pick a game we could play that week, and we'd play it all week.
(No help is needed; this is coordinated by the user of the week)

6. Monthly Graphic Contest
Over the course of a month or two, somebody could hold a graphic contest. We could all participate and of course, we would do elimination.
Head of monthly graphic contest: Mallory

7. LTH Library
We could fill this "library" with all of our favorite books, poems, and other stuff. (It will also include Wattpad stories). Also, you can advertise your own works!

8. Delete dead threads
We should just delete the threads that haven't been touched in 2 or more months. If the thread seems important, ask the owner if we should keep it.

can someone please do this because i find it very arrogant and stupid when people say that there are like 150 members when really, only like 50 of them are active. so technically we only have 50 active members. (not just on lth)

I could help with the active users thing (I feel like no one would want to do that haha). What would be required for someone to be considered an "active user"?

Why would you like to help with this activity?: well graphics are kind of how LTH started, and it would be cool to see everyone continue with making graphics and contests and stuff (if that made sense) I want to help rebuild LTH too!!

Lauryn: Awesome! I think that for someone to be considered active, they have to have logged on within the last month or so. If they haven't logged on, try PMing them on another source (TC, HG, Instagram, Tumblr, etc) asking them if they want their account. If they say no or don't respond for a week after sending, we'll delete their account.

Mint: I think some advertising on TC, Tumblr, Instagram, and other sites should do it.

Yay! I have one question, you said that the person of the week gets to choose the theme, so what will I do?

Btw if you need anything else, I'll do it.

Kat: The person of the week will come up with the theme- but you'll host the party and come up with activities and such. Thank you so much!

Okay   It should be pretty easy because of the memberlist, but I'll start tonight in case it takes me longer. What if someone has logged in withing the last month, but hasn't posted anything since, say, December?

Is there anything that I can do? I dont do graphics or any of the song writing stuff....

really it a bad idea to delete someone's account unless you been asked to by the owner

Also you wont be able to touch topaz's account as she the founder of this forum. That is a security feature.
